Zeehelden is a thrilling dance performance about the magical power of the sea. In this show, the dancers immerse themselves in the enchantment of life on—and beneath—the waves. The sea, ever stirring the imagination, brims with exciting tales.

Aboard a massive ship, our sea heroes sail across the oceans. They hoist the sails, tie the ropes, and scrub the deck. All the while, they’re tossed about by the ship as it cuts through wild waves. With strong hands, they cling to one another, trying with all their might to stay upright. It doesn’t always go well. Boom. Down they tumble, rolling over and under each other. But like loyal comrades, they always help one another back up.

And in the evening, when the wind has settled, they share bold stories— of the brave pirate who reclaimed his ship, and the mermaid who enchanted everyone with her beautiful voice. The sailors laugh together, sing sea shanties, and dance a dazzling underwater waltz. Then the sea rocks them to sleep, and at night they dream of the new day ahead, and all the adventures still waiting for them.

Zeehelden is a rousing performance for young and old, where dance, acrobatics, live music, and song come together beautifully. This joyful and moving tribute to the sea is also a celebration of imagination. Because what could be more wonderful than losing yourself, just for a moment, in a story of your own making?
